In June 2020, the team won as 2nd runner up of #HACKATAX contest, a tax innovation challenge led by BIR and supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in partnership with Developers Connect Philippines (Devcon PH). The program aimed to harness the local IT talent to create digital solutions that improve the taxpayers’ experience.
Since then, 3rd Channel has worked closely with BIR’s cross-functional innovation team to design and implement a national e-receipting ecosystem.
